David Borden (founder and head "duck" of Mother Mallard's Portable Masterpiece Company) wrote K216.01 using WA Mozart's violin concerto #3 in G Major (K216) and creating a sound bed that was written for three synthesizers. He intended it to be played on an electric violin. When I heard it, I asked him to let me play it on an acoustic violin with a reduction of the three synthesizer parts for a single piano accompaniment. He said yes, and it resulted in this track for my album February, with Blaise Bryski on piano.

Later, David told me that he regretted allowing me to do this; that this was *not* what he intended... Let me (or David) know whether you agree or disagree.
