HARAJUKU BRIDGE was written in 1997, with my friend Max, who was visiting us in Tokyo from Seattle Washingon. After going to Harajuku and seeing all the kids dressed in gothic costumes and posing, we went back to the apartment and jammed out this song. Later that week, we performed it at a little night club called THE ALADDIN. This version was recorded at the legendary Harrold Dessau Studio in NYC with another Max- a Japanese drummer with waist-length hair and bass player Shinichi- both heavy-metal musicians from Tokyo."
