Yasin is a short film about 9-11 directed by my friend Betty Lee Kim.

Betty and I were trailermates at Cornell...

When I started my job with the College of Architecture, Art and Planning, I was genuinely surprised to be led to my new "office"– it was a trailer parked in the Sibley Hall parking lot. After the initial shock wore off, I found myself sharing this space with Betty, who was then a designer for the school's alumni newsletter. Our friendship grew, and she went off to become a film-maker in LA.

In 2004, and Betty flew back east to spend some of Thanksgiving break with me to complete this soundtrack for a film she directed as an MFA candidate at the University of Southern California. She's won many awards and screenings at film festivals, most notably at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2007.
